Level up your digital career with real-world MarTech training

Breaking into the digital marketing world can feel a bit like trying to get into a club where everyone already knows the bouncer. You need experience to get a job, but you need a job to get experience. Sound familiar?

That’s exactly why we’ve put together our MarTech training programme at Livicode — to give you the practical, platform-level skills that bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. No fluff, no endless theory. Just the real tools that digital teams use every day, taught by people who’ve used them on live projects.

The best thing about the Livicode approach is that you’re not just learning about platforms — you’re learning how to actually work inside them, the same way a professional would.

Module 01

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS

Adobe AEM is one of the most in-demand — and frankly most sought-after — CMS platforms in enterprise digital. Big brands, financial services, retailers and global media organisations run their entire web presence on it. Knowing your way around AEM puts you in a very different league when it comes to job applications.

In this module you’ll learn how AEM is structured, how to build and edit pages using components, how content is organised into Sites and Assets, and how to work confidently within a real AEM environment — without needing a developer by your side every five minutes.

Contentful — Headless CMS

Contentful is the headless CMS that’s taken the digital world by storm — and for good reason. It’s flexible, developer-friendly, and used by some of the most forward-thinking brands out there. If you want to work in content, digital marketing or web production at a modern company, chances are Contentful is already in their stack.

This module introduces you to the headless content model — what it means, why it matters, and how to work within it. You’ll get hands-on with Contentful’s interface, learn how to structure and manage content types, and understand how your content connects to the front-end experiences customers actually see.

Module 02

HTML & CSS

You don’t need to become a developer — but understanding the language of the web changes everything. When you know your way around HTML and CSS, you stop being intimidated by the code you see in a CMS template or an email builder. You start being able to make things look the way they’re supposed to look, and you become a much more useful collaborator with the development team.

This module is designed for complete beginners and covers how web pages are built from the ground up. You’ll learn HTML structure, how CSS controls layout and styling, and how to make small but impactful edits to live content — skills that will serve you in almost every digital role you’ll ever have.

Module 03

SEO — Search Engine Optimisation

SEO is one of those skills that looks simple on the surface and reveals surprising depth the further in you go. It sits right at the crossroads of content, technical web knowledge and data — which makes it an incredibly versatile skill to have. Almost every digital team has an SEO need, and people who genuinely understand it are always in demand.

This module covers the fundamentals of how search engines work and how to influence where your content appears. You’ll learn on-page optimisation, how to research and use keywords effectively, what makes a page technically sound from an SEO perspective, and how to think about content strategy through an organic search lens.

Module 04

Google Analytics

Data is the language of digital — and Google Analytics is how most organisations read it. Being able to open a GA4 dashboard and actually understand what you’re looking at, find the insights that matter, and use them to inform decisions is a skill that will make you stand out in interviews and in the job itself.

This module gets you comfortable in the GA4 interface, teaches you how to interpret key metrics and reports, and shows you how to track the things that actually matter to a business. You’ll finish this module able to have an informed conversation about performance, traffic and user behaviour — which puts you streets ahead of most candidates at your level.

Is This Programme Right for You?

This training is built for people who are ready to take their digital career seriously — whether you’re just starting out or making a pivot into a new area. Here’s who tends to get the most out of it:

  • Recent graduates who want to go beyond their degree and show employers they can actually use the platforms that matter in the real world.
  • Career changers moving into digital marketing, content, or web production who want a structured, focused way to build relevant skills quickly.
  • Junior digital professionals already in a role who want to broaden their platform knowledge and open up new opportunities within their organisation — or beyond it.
  • Job seekers who are tired of being overlooked because they don’t have direct experience with specific tools — and want to be able to put Adobe AEM, Contentful or Google Analytics on their CV with confidence.
